Tutors who know about business – The tutors on this programme have experience as practicing managers, worked with business in an advisory capacity or will be researching business and management in order that what you learn is current, leading edge thinking which has real relevance to the world of business.
Some people even have experience with 10 or 15 products within that industry, but knowledge, experience and hands on management of a broader range of products, from over a hundred companies, and building marketing and distribution in diverse markets such as North America, Europe and Asia is experience few people have.
The International Business Management graduate certificate can also prepare students to pursue three industry designations/certifications in addition to the George Brown College graduate certificate if they choose to do so. These industry designations/certifications require additional exams and/or related work experience to qualify.
Through group work you’ll build your teamwork and communication skills, while through technical exercises, projects and work placements you’ll develop strong business and customer awareness, problem-solving, numeracy, IT, project management and research skills.
